Tourists flock to Nazca to view the Nazca Lines. We opted to taxi out to a tower that allowed us a view of three designs.
In the afternoon, we went to Chauchilla cemetary, where the well-preserved bodies of former Nazca inhabitants, mummified by a combination of herbs and the arid weather, are on display.
We also watched the latest Bond movie, Casino Royale, which is now out on DVD at the hotel as one of our guides had bought a pirated copy. It stopped 10 minutes before the end - how frustrating!
